Rotimi Ogunyemi Esq. is an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Attorney with years of critical experience in commercial legal practice and core expertise in handling legal issues relating to ICTs, Legal & Legislative Drafting of ICT Instruments, eCommerce, Social, Mobile and Cloud Technologies, Financial & Regulation Technologies, Intellectual Properties and Digital Assets, Internet governance, Legal & Policy Issues on Emerging Technologies, together with all aspects of Law relating to the current information society and digital economy.

He is an adjunct Faculty Member and Lecturer of ICT Law & Policy at the Digital Bridge Institute of the Nigeria Communications Commission. He is proficient in Internet technologies and programming; A digital strategist and full stack developer with various certifications in Web development, Cloud & Mobile Computing, Multimedia, Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection, Internet of Things & Artificial Intelligence.

He is the MANAGING PARTNER of BAYO OGUNYEMI & CO, a specialist Information and Communications Technology Law Practice in Lagos and the 2nd Vice Chair of the ICT Committee, Section on Business Law – Nigeria Bar Association. He is a committee member of the International Bar Association in the Technology Law Committee and Communications Law Committee.

Rotimi is Co-founder and President of Spindlar Cyberlaw Centre – a pioneer research and training centre for Information and Communications Technology Law in Nigeria. He works to shape ICT Law development through training, curriculum development, Legislative Initiatives and advocacy.

He has presented papers at several conferences and seminars. Recent papers include: Legislative Imperative for deploying Broadband in Nigeria and Updating the Nigerian Communications Act both delivered to the House of Representative Committee on Telecommunications
